Anime Review; Karneval Ep 2 AND 3

*staring at the floor and waves at you guys without looking up* Hello everyone, now I know what your thinking.Your wondering why the hell I didn’t do the anime review on the second episode of Karneval when it came out, why I’m lying on the floor and why the hell I have fan girl sparkles round me. Well let me explain with this review.

Karneval Episode 2 “Fortune Cat” review;

Now this episode alot of stuff goes on, the Karneval has come to town and a new character is introduced.

We find that both Nai and Gareki are being hunted down by the security force and by the old guy from the first ep, Nai in particular is being chased because of his hearing ability. As word gets round that Nai and Gareki are in the town ((don’t think it has a name and if it does then i probably missed it .__.”’)) where Hirato and Tsukmo ((who are part of circus AND work in karneval)) are already there setting up for the karneval/circus performance.

As the episode goes on we find Nai being chased by two men, in which Gareki tries to save him. Only to be tazed ((can’t spell TT^TT)) Gareki is on the floor unable to help Nai, who is being taken. Next thing we know the gay ((but cute)) cat from before earlier in the episode shows up.
The person inside the cat costume turn out to be a blond haired, blue eyed man called Yogi And i swear to god the things he said before he got out the cat outfit made me think “oh god, gay guy is a fuzzy cat costume -.-””.

But as we get further into the episode i find that Yogi isn’t as gay as i originally thought, i guess he may have a tiny bit of an ego but he’s not a stuck up prick like most blond haired blued eyed male characters are in certain animes. Yogi to me has the personality of a 5 year old -.- ((not that i mind, makes him cute x3))

Now we find that while playing a game of hide and seek Nai somehow ends up outside of circuses ship ((which Nai and Gareki were taken too and they were supposed to stay on it)). When he falls off the ship we see some creepy assed troll who tries to take Nai calling him “A red seed”.

After Nai gets saved by Gareki, Tsukmo and Yogi they all go back to the ship. But while Yogi is talking to Hirato Nai here’s a hi pitched noise ((sorta like the one he heard on the train in the previous episode)), but the noise is so loud that it ends up causing Nai to clutch his head in pain. The pain ended up becoming so unbearable that he ended up passing out. ((Not giving away how or who made it happen you’ll have to see it yourself))

Karneval Episode 3 “Phantom Picnic” review; 

Now this episode so far is my all time favorite, there were so many cute funny moments in this. Now I’m gonna make it as short as i can cause i really suggest u see it yourself to see it’s awesomeness :3

So In this episode we find out why Nai has his ears at the back off his head as well as normal human ears, Nai is appaently not all human. He is part Niji which is THIS CUTE LITTLE THING!!!!  I mean seriously I freaking died of adorableness when i saw this!! I mean come on look how cute that thing is!!!

*coughs* . . . um ok moving on, so we find out that Nai is Part niji. And i have to say the amount of sparkles that Nai was giving off in this episode made me come to love him even more.

Anyway the people of circus take Nai to the place where he lived with Karoku, they show a house which had been burnt to the ground.

Nai takes them to another place to where he’d lived when they are all suddenly attacked by the monsters from before ((I can’t remember if their called Vugal or something else, i know it starts with a V))

Now this led to the CUTEST FREAKING BUNNY SCENE THAT I’VE EVER SEEN!!! I CAN’T STOP WATCHING IT THERE’S TO MUCH CUTENESS FOR ME TO HANDLE IO;SVYO;WTG BWAGRAYE R

((Random input from Nappa and vegita))

Vegita: Nappa what does the scouter say about her power level!?

Me: *has cuteness vibes all around me”

Nappa: IT’S OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAANDDDD!!!!

Vegita: WHAT NINE THOUSAND!?!!?!?

Me: *blows up*

*after an hour of being put back together by my oc’s”

Me: woah . . . .what happend?

Oc’s: U blew up from cuteness overload

Me: best way to die, ok back to the review. *sits back down*

Sorry for that, but that scene gets me every god damn time. Gareki ends up being taken by a massive swarm of the Varuga ((found the word x3)) which lead to the end of the freaking episode ¬_¬.

Now i know these reviews are short and aren’t very good cause their rushed but i tried. Now the visuals on episode 3 were absolutely amazing, the scenery and everything else was great as well. The way the anime is building up is great and I absolutely love it, i can’t wait for the next ep to come out today/tomorrow. I’ll try and do a better review on that one to make up for these two shitty ones.

I highly suggest u go check it out cause if u haven’t then u have no idea what your missing.

Anime Review; Shugo Chara

Ok everyone here’s my anime review on the anime Shugo Chara 

*collapses from exhaustion* god this anime took forever to finish, but good god it was worth it ((three freaking seasons to get threw -.-”))

This anime to me was great, I’m so happy that i was able to finish it seeing that i started watching it last year but stopped half way threw. So at the beginning of last month i decided to watch it again and actually FINISH IT ¬_¬.

Ok now character introductions;

We start off the anime and come across a girl called Hinamori Amu; a girl with pink hair, brown/gold eyes and wears gothic lolita school clothing.

Two boys are picking on a younger class man who apparently has a game that they want to have. Amu arrives on the scene and says that their blocking her path, the boys soon realize who she is. It comes to show that Amu is shown as a scary upper classman who is known for her “cool and spicy” outer character. The boys take off screaming down the street screaming, meanwhile the boy who had been picked on thanks Amu for saving. Amu responds by saying “Are you stupid? Your blocking the way too shrimp” and leaves the scene.

It is shown not long after that Amu’s “cool and spicy” outer character isn’t her real self. The reason she acts all non caring or as anime terms called it Tsun-Tsun ((Tsundere)) is because when she’d transferred to the school she didn’t know how to act in front of the students when being introduced to her class. As a result she’d cracked under pressure and acted like it wasn’t a big deal.

We then see Amu eating at the table with her two parents and younger sister Ami, watching a program about a psychic who is telling everyone how they have a guardian angel watching them. Their would be self’s.

Amu later heads upstairs to her room and sits on her bed thinking about what the lady on the tv had said on the program. Curling up into a ball Amu prayed that she’d have more courage, so she could act more like herself and not like her outer character.

The next morning Amu wakes up two find Three eggs in her bed  ((i couldn’t find a image from the anime, sowwy ;A;))Amu takes the eggs to school not wanting her parents to find the eggs and takes them to school in a side bag.

It’s at this point in the anime which we meet the school guardians, a group of kids who take care of the school and keep things in order.

It consists on the kings chair; Tadase Hotori 

Queens Chair; Nadeshiko Fujisaki 

Jack’s Chair; Kukai Souma 

And Finally Ace Chair; Yaya Yuiki 

((The guardians are easy to spot seeing that unlike the other students they wear a cape.))

Anyway, it is shown that Amu has a crush on Tadase Hotori. She wishes that she could get him to notice her and wishes that she could tell him her feelings for him. At this point one of Amu’s eggs ((the pink/red one with the hearts on it)) starts to move, frantically she tries to hide it. But Tadases notices her eggs and grabs her arm, he is about to ask her about them but Amu’s outer character shows up before anyone starts gossiping. Amu puts on her “cool and spicy” character and ends up says “don’t act like we’re friends or something shorty” ((it shows that Amu is infact a little taller than Tadase)) and walks off cursing herself for talking to her crush like that.

Later on we come across a character called Ikuto Tsukiyomi, a 17 year old boy with blue hair and blue eyes 

When we first meet Ikuto, he is seen with blue cat ears and tail. At this point in the anime Amu’s red egg had hatched into her first “shugo chara” called Ran. Who represents Amu’s desire to be more honest and athletic 

Ikuto attempt’s to take Amu’s remaining unhatched eggs with his shugo chara Yoru It’s shown later in the anime that Ikuto can character transform with Yoru into Black Lynx 

Amu realizes that if Ikuto takes her unborn eggs then he’s basically taking away her would be self’s. Amu lunges forward and knocks the eggs out of Ikuto’s hand and ends up falling off a ongoing construction building. Ran tells Amu to believe in herself and as a result Amu ends up character transforming into Amulet Heart  in which she harness’s more powerful athletic abilities, and the desire to be more energetic and honest.

As the anime progresses we find out that the academy’s guardians also have shugo chara’s ((here comes order time *hitches my glasses*))

Tadase’s Shugo chara is Kiseki, who was born out of Tadase’s desire to become stronger and his dream of world domination.  Later on in the anime he and Tadase can character transform into Platinum Royal   ((And i swear if this outfit doesn’t shout GAY then i honestly don’t know what does -.-))

Nadeshiko’s shugo chara is Temari, who was born out of Nadeshiko’s desire to be more mannered and become a Japanese dancer. It’s shown that Nadeshiko and Temari can chara transform into Yamato Maihime 

Kukai’s shugo chara is Daichi, who was born when Kukai wanted to do many sports but had to choose. Kukai and Daichi  are shown to chara transform into Sky Jack  later in the anime 

And finally Yaya’s shugo chara is Pepe, who was born from Yaya’s desire to become a baby again and to get more love from her parents. Yaya and Pepe are shown to character transform somewhere in the middle of the first season i think, Into Dear Baby  ((in all honesty her character transformation scares me 0__0)

As the series goes on we meet Amu’s other shugo chara’s; Miki who was born from Amu’s desire to be more cool, artistic, and also disobedient and level-headed.  With Miki Amu can character transform into Amulet Spade 

And Su who was born from Amu’s desire to be more caring and improve her domestic skills . With su, Amu can character transform into Amulet Clover  ((This outfit seriously made me go Wtf?!))

While Amu learns about being a member of the guardians they find out about things known as X-Eggs, basically it’s when someone has put an X on their would be self ((given up on their dreams)). Amu learns that threw her character transformations she can purify the eggs by using her attack Open heart.

 

*Collapses* God going threw all the character transformations is a pain, oh well. As the story progresses it tells u more and more about peoples backstorys and i honestly liked that. I liked finding out why people put X’s on their hearts egg or why their shugo chara was born. Ok i honestly don’t want to give too much away in this review cause it probably contains certain spoilers and i don’t want people to read this and feel like they’ve basically watched the whole anime.

Now art style wise, i absolutely loved it. There where times when they did keep to it but when they went into chibi mode it just made me laugh till my sides were sore.  The overall transformations where amazing as well, certain times I questioned certain things but now i just try to ignore it. Grafics where amazing as well and the overall design was amazing. It has that vibe to it that you WANT to get from a magical fantasy anime, they have girly transformations you want great design and colors and that’s what this anime gives you.

The plot to the story it self is pretty good as well, I think the reason I stop watching it after the first few episodes the first time though is because to me it didn’t really pick up at first. But now that I’ve seen all of it I think to myself “Why the hell didn’t i watch this sooner or bloody finish it the first time i started to watch it?!”. I think there were certain parts where it lagged though and i think that was really the only flaw to it. I think that they could of provided more information on certain characters and maybe could of gone into more detail with them as well.

Other than that though the anime was great, i love everything about it. Now certain girly anime’s like  Sailor moon or princess Tutu don’t really catch my attention, but animes like Shugo chara and Tokyo mew mew are the type of girly animes that i like. They have a way of actually grabbing my attention and they make me want to rewatch the anime over and over and over again.

I give this anime a  9/10 , the reason being like i said it lacked in certain criteria.

Anime Review; Karneval Ep 1

Ok everybody here’s my anime review of the anime Karneval; 

This anime is a on going series which so far has only released one episode ((The other episodes will be coming out every other week))

After watching the first episode of this anime so far I’ve been blown away by it. Ok Character introduction time;

We come across our first character, a seemingly young boy called Nai. He has a pretty petite figure, big red eyes and silvery/white hair. He looks like he has ears coming out the back of his head which have violet tips to them. 

We come across Nai laying on the grass looking at a man ((who’s name is Karoku)), he reaches out to Karoku but he vanishes.

 

We soon after see him being ((i guess there’s no other way to put it)) raped by some creepy lady. He is rescued by Gareki, a thief who likes to steal from rich people. 

However as Nai is about to escape the lady transforms into some demonic looking creature and tries to stop himfrom escaping. But Nai is once again saved by Gareki to some extent.

Meanwhile we meet two new characters, a man in a dark suit and a top hat called Hirato and his assistant ((I think that’s what she is)) Tsukumo. The two are apparently part of an organization called Circus ((More details on the group later as the series continues)) .

During all of this two people ((a old man and a young girl)) have been taken hostage on a train, by a group of people who want revenge on the politician ((The old man)) for unfair treatment. While this is all happening Nai and Gareki are trying to escape from the military, they jump onto the train and hide out in the back carriage.

It seems that Nai has a special ability with his ears that help him hear things before they happen, seeing that he was able to make himself and Gareki duck down before an explosion in one of the other carriages went off.

It seems that being part of the organization Circus means having some sort of magical power or something like that seeing that Hirato is able to do spells of some sort with his cane and teleport while Tsukumo can run fast enough to dodge bullets and both of them can fly. 

So far this anime has really interested me and i can’t wait for the next ep to come out. The designs are amazing as are the graffics. So far the plot has me sitting on the edge of the sofa making me want to see more. I can’t wait to meet the remaining characters and see how things will turn out.

Will Nai find Karoku? Who was the man at the end of the episode talking with the old man? What is the story behind circus? 

All these things i want to know, but for now we’ll have to wait till next week to find out in episode 2 of Karneval.

As my user name states I’m a anime reviewer, I’ll watch anime’s and give my opinion on the characters, the music used in the anime, the animation design, how the plot is and drink hot chocolate all at the same time >:3
